About New York Restaurant Week

Two decades of the New York Restaurant Week

NYC Restaurant Week is held twice a year, in summer and winter, for two weeks. With a history of almost two decades, it has become extremely popular among New Yorkers and tourists as a chance to discover new favorite high-end restaurants at value price in Manhattan.

Most of the renowned restaurants in New York participate in this event every year. The entire city becomes energetic in a festive mood as people can enjoy prix-fixe menus at approximately 250 restaurants, including many highly regarded by popular Zagat Survey.

Gourmets use this opportunity to find new favorites restaurants as well as revisit their long-time favorites. The participating restaurants provide three prix-fixe course meals (appetizer, main dish and dessert) at very reasonable and irresistible price ( $24.07 for lunch and $35 for dinner).

Restaurant Week is also held in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium and other European countries, as well as in Singapore in Asia. Many other countries also plan to import this dining tradition. Restaurant Weeks is indeed becoming one of the world’s most beloved festivals.
